Horrific Escape

Escape date: 29^th March 2014

Dscry: Here we are again in Escape Dungeon about to attempt the most haunted room they have called the Haunted Chamber. I really hope it has good horror elements. I am also hoping for a better experience than the Haunted House in Escape Room, Berjaya Times Square.

dPace: And we have the same amount of time to escape, 45 minutes with 2 hints to call for. We have stumbled upon an old looking house after our car broke down. Supposedly, this was the only civilized shelter that we can find. This place definitely looks more like a house, as compared to the Haunted House in Escape Room, Berjaya Times Square.

Dscry: Yeah, at least this place lives up the the name. But, I won’t say it gives a cozy feeling being in it. Let’s look around and see if there is anything that can help us get passed through that door.

dPace: I seriously wondered if this place was an exact replica of an old haunted house. Everything looks so real, it has the eerie feeling. Plus the colour and ambience provided by the lights, it definitely gives some escapers a chill to their bones. Even the background sounds fit the entire atmosphere of a haunted house.

Dscry: Like any other horror movies, it is always too dark to look for things. My eyes are really trying to adjust to this kind of lighting. Need lots of courage finding things inside this place because everything looks like it is cursed or something.

dPace: Oh well, I am tired too, looking for things, especially in dark environments. Although we know what to find, eventually our team called for help because it was too dark to find. They helped us and we’re on to our next clue.

Dscry: So, we are stuck here until we can escape and get the car fixed. If we end up sleeping here, where are we gonna sleep tonight?

dPace: Hmmm, since the room say it’s a Haunted Chamber, I’m sure there’s gotta be a bed somewhere. I wonder where it is. Let’s go explore other parts of this haunted house.

Dscry: It’s getting cold in here. I wonder why. dPace! I think I found a place for us to sleep in. Let’s make ourselves comfortable. Okay, maybe not. Let’s get out of here. This place is really creepy. I am impressed with the horror elements of this room. Finally! A room in Escape Dungeon that is worth the horror experience.

dPace: I agree. One of our escapemate was totally freaked out by the horror of this Haunted Chamber. If you want a horror movie that comes to life, I think this is the place to get that experience. Lesson learnt, “Horrorific themes can severely distract escapers from solving puzzles”. Eventually we had to take some time to calm our escapemate before continuing solving puzzles. In the end, we managed to escape with a good amount of time to spare.
