Escape Date: 28th May 2014

Dscry: We had journeyed through the pyramids, explored ancient ruins and even discovered hidden cultures. Nothing can surprise us now with a room called The Shahara Prison in Mission Break. Oh, wait… Did I just say prison?

dPace: Since when there is a prison in the Shahara Desert? A newly built prison? It’s gotta be real hot and cold in there! Cause you're hot then you're cold, you're yes then you're no, you're in then you're out… *continues singing* WOAH! HMPGH! Who kidnapped me???

Dscry: That songs sounds like you. After a few attempts of trying to unwrap mummies, the rightful prison finally caught dPace. But, why am I in here with him?

dPace: What do you mean that song sounds like me -.- But it was interesting to find out what’s beneath those cloth wrapping the mummies. Where is everyone else?

Dscry: This prison is a deserted prison in the desert. Get it? I see no one else around.

dPace: It’s kinda dusty in here due to some sand. And what song are the guards listening to? Doesn’t sound desertish to me. Alrites, one more lock and we will be united again after being in separate cells.

Dscry: I thought there are no guards. Please remind me to bring my gloves next time. Moving those dusty and sandy things are making me cringe.

dPace: Come, I’ll move it for you. Alrites, I think there is a secret passageway here. Let’s go Dscry, and be careful of those skeletons. Also watch out, don’t make any noise as it might hit off some security alarm or something.

Dscry: I shall try. *beep beep beep* I didn’t touch anything! Did you?

dPace: Nope, not me either, I just right behind you. And none of our teammates touched anything too. I guess the alarm system is overly sensitive.

Dscry: Maybe it was the skeleton? The skeleton don’t like us disturbing his beauty sleep and trigger the alarm.

dPace: There goes the flow of the game, and we had to be interrupted due to the faulty alarm system. The game masters apologized and we skip this part of the game. Lesson learnt, “Overly sensitive alarm system kills the game”.

Dscry: That’s too bad. I really wanted to try my acrobatic skills. That part of the game was nice but  being overly sensitive is not good.

dPace: Oh my! This place is seriously like a desert! Whee… Let’s hang around here and play! *heard some people chasing us at a distance* Okay, maybe not… Let’s go, Dscry, we can escape now!

Escape Date: 16th May 2014

dPace: Dscry, we are working for the FBI and are hired to solve a case which the local police are clueless about. It’s about a hotel boss being killed in his office, and we only have 45 minutes to identify the killer or s/he will disappear (according to the description of the case). Seriously, disappear from the face of the Earth???

Dscry: Hmm... Maybe change his or her identity and erase his current existence from the Earth. Can't underestimate this kind of people. They are capable of doing many things.

dPace: I agree. So we have to start going through these files, papers, and newspapers in this office as we, the FBI, are also clueless! Although we have identified the things and compartments which are locked, we don’t have a clue the order of which we have to solve.

Dscry: Let’s try them all. Just do whatever we can.

dPace: Yups, we just made the office even messier. Okay, we managed to unlock a few box and compartments, and we were doing it very quickly indeed, according to the game master. However, we stumbled upon a difficult puzzle so we called for support.

Dscry: That is one of the 2 hints we get for this room. Oops, looks like we solved some puzzles which we weren’t supposed to solve before that difficult one. There goes the flow.

dPace: Oh well, they should have organized the room so that escapers follow the correct flow. Thankfully, we got back on track and we’ve found more clues to help us escape. Due to the messy office that we created, it was quite difficult to re-track our puzzle flow. Lesson learnt, “Though ransacking quickens the process of finding things, it also creates a mess which might slow escapers”.

Dscry: Just a little bit more and we will be out. These thing looks like some illegal substance. So, do we bring it back to analyse?

dPace: I’m not sure, probably we’ll have to find a way to analyse it here. I’m afraid these substances might harm us if we mishandled them.

Dscry: Hmm… That’s bad. I never go for training on how to analyse these things. I’ll let you do it, dPace. I think we can leave this place soon.

dPace: Oh, I ain’t so sure either, but I will try to recall what I learnt during my school days. Thankfully I paid some attention in school… hehehe… There you go, here’s the answer.

Dscry: Yes, I got the key! Let’s get out of this place and make sure to arrest the killer before he disappears completely without a trace. Another murder mystery solved!

Escape Date: 16th May 2014

Dscry: Just when we thought there are no new escape game places, we found another one in Mahkota Cheras called Mission Break. We are here to try out their easiest room which is Saw. From the name, you would think of the movie. In a way, you are right!

dPace: We are being brought into a dark eerie room, where we will have 45 minutes to escape, with 2 hints, before the mad man comes and chop us into pieces. We woke up to find ourselves in a deserted restroom. Our teammates are locked with us in the same restroom.

Dscry: Our situation is just like in the movie, Saw. When the door finally shut close, we hear a voice booming from the speaker instructing us to free ourselves or else we will face death.

dPace: I don’t really fancy Saw the movie, and I don’t really fancy this messy restroom. I’m near the sink of and there’re some dirty things in here. I wonder if there is something in here that can free us. Let me see if any of these are useful.

Dscry: Well, they did manage to get the concept of the movie right. It is quite interesting. I think the victims in Saw the movie will agree with you.

dPace: Haha, perhaps. Great, you are free from your chains. Try to see if there is anything that can now help us out. This restroom is small and there is nothing else, so we just have to look carefully and we should be able to find all the clues.

Dscry: I can actually just leave all of you and escape alone. Aha! Maybe I shall do that.

dPace: Noooooo, don’t leave us here in this ugly restroom. It doesn’t smell good either. Try looking for stuffs over that side, I thought I saw something just now.

Dscry:  Okay, fine. I found something. Let me see… Oh, I managed to free another member of our team.

dPace: Great! But I’m still stuck here >< Sucks that I can only help by helping with observing. Lesson learnt, “Being trapped or locked does not mean that you cannot help your teammates”

Dscry: I think we found something to set you free. I’ll try it now. There, you’re free now, dPace.

dPace: Ah, finally I can help find things. Hmm… this is a restroom right? Why in the world is this piece of thing doing in here? It doesn’t make sense, so I’m sure there’s something useful around here.

Dscry: Try opening everything you see around the room. This room is quite simple so there is not much place to hide things. dPace, how about you try and look behind there too?

dPace: You’re right, the clues are here. I’ve got the answer to this, and I’ve got the key. We can escape from this messy restroom now!
